Nursery Government Funded hours
All 3 to 4-year-olds in Oxfordshire are eligible for the universal 570 hours free early education. (Universal) There is no need to apply for a code. Working parents may also be eligible for the extended 570 hours for 3 and 4-year old children. (Extended or '30 hours') Information, eligibility criteria and links to apply can be found at Childcare Choices. If parents are eligible for Extended Government Funded Hours, they will be given an 11 digit eligibility code for their child. Once a code has been given, please complete and return to school the ‘Details for Claiming 30 Hours Childcare’ form (available on the school website). You must ensure that you have applied for/re-confirmed your 30-hour code no later than 31st August in order to use it for the Autumn term. This form must be returned to school the term before you wish your child to start claiming Extended Government Funded Hours. All Government Funded Hours are for 38 weeks of the year, for a set number of weeks each term. |
